Tearing off the wallpaper

Upon Carina's intriguing suggestion, 'The Empiric', with cautious fingers, began to tear at the edges of the discolored wallpaper. As layers peeled away, a hidden canvas emerged beneath. This wasn't just any canvas, but an ancient mural, painted with utmost precision.
The painting depicted a sprawling blueprint of the haunted hospital, intricately detailed with symbols and pathways. Markings highlighted certain rooms, while others had cryptic signs that matched some from the manuscripts.
Most interestingly, the mural showcased a series of interconnected tunnels and chambers, a labyrinth beneath the hospital, possibly leading to an exit. The location of the vent grid was clearly marked, along with a series of steps or rituals that had to be performed.
Among these illustrations, there was an emphasis on a specific symbol – one that eerily resembled the talisman 'The Empiric' held. It seemed that not only was the talisman the key, but it was central to unlocking the secrets of this forsaken place.
Carina's suggestion had revealed a map of hope, a beacon in 'The Empiric's' perilous journey.
